Léopold Lambert je francouzský architekt, spisovatel, editor a zakladatel webové platformy ARCHIPELAGO a tištěného magazínu THE FUNAMBULIST, zaměřených na zastavěné prostředí, ve kterém žijeme. Léopold Lambert je architekt a publicista, šéfredaktor časopisu The Funambulist, který také sám nezávisle vydává v Paříži. Je autorem knih Weaponized Architecture: The Impossibility of Innocence (DPR-barcelona 2012) – která je ve výběru naší kurátorované knihovny –, Topie Impitoyable: The Corporeal Politics of the Cloth, the Wall, and the Street (Punctum Books, Goleta, CA 2015) a La politique du bulldozer: La ruine palestinienne comme projet israélien (Bulldozer Politics: The Palestinian Ruin as an Israeli Architectural Project; Éditions B2, Paris 2016).
The Funambulist je tištěný i digitální dvouměsíčník doplněný blogem a podcastem the-archipelago. Jeho podtitul „Politics of Space and Bodies” vyjadřuje ambici přemostit prostřednictvím kritických článku s dlouholetými a nově objevovanými dopisovateli svět designu (architektury, urbanismu, průmyslového a módního designu) se světem humanitních věd (filosofií, antropologií, historií, geografií atd.).

Léopold Lambert is an architect and writer, the editor-in-chief of The Funambulist magazine independently published in Paris. Léopold is author of books “Weaponized Architecture: The Impossibility of Innocence” (DPR-barcelona 2012) – included in our reading box selection – “Topie Impitoyable: The Corporeal Politics of the Cloth, the Wall, and the Street” (Punctum Books, Goleta, CA 2015) and “ La politique du bulldozer: La ruine palestinienne comme projet israélien” (Bulldozer Politics: The Palestinian Ruin as an Israeli Architectural Project; Éditions B2, Paris 2016).
The Funambulist is a bimestrial printed and digital magazine complemented with a blog and a podcast the-archipelago. Its subtitle, “Politics of Space and Bodies,” expresses it ambition to bridge the world of design (architecture, urbanism, industrial and fashion design) with the world of the humanities (philosophy, anthropology, history, geography, etc.) through critical articles written by long-time collaborators as well as new ones.
Visiting Editors is a series of lectures, discussions and readings on other models of publishing in architecture.
