Jako těla bez duše. Tak někdy mohou působit pacienti s Alzheimerovou nemocí. Blanche Moreau, krásná dvaadevadesátiletá dáma, není výjimkou. Vše se mění v momentě, kdy do geriatrického centra, v němž spolu s dalšími seniory tráví poslední fázi svého života, přichází choreograf a tanečník Thierry. Díky jeho taneční terapii těžce nemocné pacientky zcela ožívají. Důvěrnou intimitu a pozornost, kterou jim ve společném pohybu věnuje, si užívá obzvlášť Blanche. Poetický film otevírá delikátní téma citových potřeb seniorů, potvrzuje moc arteterapie a beze slov dokazuje, že ve starém těle dříme mladá duše.
Like a body without a soul: this is what patients with Alzheimer’s sometimes can seem like. Blanche Moreau, a beautiful 92-year-old lady, is no exception. Everything changes the moment dancer and choreographer Thierry comes to the geriatric centre, where she along with other senior citizens are spending the last phase of their lives. Through his dance therapy the seriously ill patients come fully to life. Blanche in particular enjoys the intimacy and attention focused on them in common movement. This poetic film explores the delicate topic of the emotional needs of senior citizens, confirming the power of art therapy and proving without words that a young soul may reside in an old body.

Být hlavou domácnosti je zodpovědná a nelehká práce. To platí zejména pro Olu, 14letou polskou dívku, která se stará o svého autistického bratra a neschopného otce věčně vysedávajícího u televize. Tato zkouška osudu ji stojí dětství a běžné dívčí radosti. Jedno přání jí však ještě zbývá – návrat její matky domů a znovuobnovení nefunkční rodiny. Veškeré své síly tak Ola upíná ke dni svatého přijímání bratra Nikodema. Oslava po této zkoušce dospělosti se má stát v jejích představách pojítkem rozbité rodiny. Nekonečný boj je svědectvím o síle zoufalé dívky, která přes mnohá odmítnutí stále věří ve změnu.
Being the head of the household is a great responsibility and hard work. This is especially true for Ola, a 14-year-old Polish girl who cares for her autistic brother and apathetic father, who spends most of the day sitting in front of the television. This test of fate has cost her her childhood and usual girlish pleasures. But one wish remains – the return of her mother and the restoration of her dysfunctional family. Ola has placed all her faith in her brother Nikodema’s Holy Communion. In her mind the celebration that follows this test of adulthood is to become a link to her broken family. The endless fight is a testament to the strength of a desperate girl who despite numerous rejections still believes in change.
