▷ ANDREAS RUMPFHUBER: PRACOVNÍ PŮVAB. O MĚSTĚ PO KONCI PRÁCE
Přednáška architekta Andrease Rumpfhubera se bude točit kolem změn modelů práce v západních industrializovaných krajinách v 50. a 60. letech minulého století, jejich důsledků v produkci architektury a našich měst a jak od té doby stále ovlivňují náš subjektivní pohled na svět. Historie v jeho podání je úzce spjata s využitím a rozšířením kybernetické logiky. Zmíní objev „tvorby kancelářské krajiny“, projekt Mobile Office Hanse Holleina a další poválečné projevy aktivismu související s konceptem nemateriální práce a jak to vše souvisí s naší koncepcí bydlení.

Andreas Rumpfhuber je architekt a teoretik architektury, který žije ve Vídni. Vede kancelář Expanded Desig, je autorem či spoluautorem knih Architektur immaterieller Arbeit (Vienna, 2013), The Design of Scarcity (Moscow, 2014), Modelling Vienna: Real Fictions in Social Housing (Vienna, 2014), Wunschmaschine Wohnanlage (Vienna, 2016) a Into the Great Wide Open (Barcelona, 2017), byl hostujícím pedagogem v oboru strategie prostoru a navrhování na škole architektury Muthesiovy Akademie umění v Kielu, na Státní akademii umění ve Stuttgartu a na Technické univerzitě ve Vídni vede ateliérovou výuku urbanismu.

▷ ANDREAS RUMPFHUBER: WORKING GLAMOUR. TOWARDS THE CITY AFTER LABOUR
The talk will circle around the changes of the labour paradigm in Western industrialized countries in the 1950s and 1960s and its implication for the production of architecture and our cities, and hence affecting all our subjectivities, ever since.
The history that Andreas Rumpfhuber will be telling is closely related to the application and dissemination of cybernetic logics. He will be discussing the invention of “office landscaping”, Hans Hollein’s “Mobile Office”, and other postwar activisms related to the concept of immaterial labour and what all this has to do with our conception of housing.

Andreas Rumpfhuber is a practicing architect and an architectural theoretician based in Vienna, Austria. He runs the office Expanded Design and is author or co-author of the books Architektur immaterieller Arbeit (Vienna, 2013), The Design of Scarcity (Moscow, 2014), Modelling Vienna: Real Fictions in Social Housing (Vienna, 2014), Wunschmaschine Wohnanlage (Vienna, 2016), and Into the Great Wide Open (Barcelona, 2017). Has been guest- and visiting professor at Muthesius Art Academy Kiel (for Space and Design Strategies), State Academy of the Arts Stuttgart, and TU Vienna (both for Urban Design).
